Kyra Lobbins, Ph.d, leverages over a decade of experience in higher education to drive transformational organizational change, empower leaders, and strengthen teams.
Kyra instills in her the values of resilience, teamwork, and leadership that she now imparts to others. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that true leadership begins with a deep understanding of oneself — and her holistic approach, encompassing mind and body, provides those she works with the opportunity to take care of themselves and their teams, helping leaders at all levels not only meet goals but exceed them. Whether working with mid-level managers or C-suite executives, Kyra's coaching is customized and personalized, focusing on building rapport, trust, and understanding.
Before joining Adler University, Kyra spent eight years at Clemson University, most recently as deputy chief of staff, collaborating closely with the president, chief of staff, and other campus leaders on strategic initiatives. Her multifaceted experience has provided her with invaluable insights and a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in higher education leadership.
Kyra earned her Ph.D. in educational leadership in 2023. She holds an MBA from the University of Akron, a master’s in sport management from Northern Illinois University, and a bachelor’s degree in communication. Kyra's dedication to excellence has been recognized through numerous accolades, awards, board appointments.
